Construction Moisture Consulting (CMC), a Tampa-based building envelope consulting firm established in 1992, is actively seeking qualified candidates for immediately available Professional Building Envelope Consultant positions.
General Details
- Technical background in waterproofing, air barriers, curtain walls, window systems, elastomeric sealants, coatings, below-grade waterproofing, and roofing.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer proficiency. CAD and construction management software experience a plus.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, reliable, and self-directed.
- Must be willing to travel by car throughout Central Florida and occasional air travel with minimal overnight travel.
- RRC, RRO, RWC, REWC, REWO, RBEC CBECxP or similar certifications are a +++.
- Mid- and Senior-Level – Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Florida Professional A/E or P/E Registration a plus), Structural/Civil Engineering, or Building/Construction Science. Will consider direct experience (5+ years) in lieu of a degree.
General responsibilities include window, building envelope, roofing, and waterproofing field evaluation/testing, moisture surveys, design/specification development and reviews, forensic investigation, ASTM and AAMA testing, project management, quality assurance inspections, and reporting.
Remote/Hybrid work environment, Central Florida based preferred. (Entry-level must be willing to locate/relocate to the Tampa Bay area for a 4-month introductory period.)
